Activities on Aloe are ways you can create your own group or gathering within your organization to meet others on your own terms and have fun while doing it! Organizations continue to plan all events on Aloe, paid or unpaid, but as a member of an organization, you can create your own activity for other members in that organization to see. Activities can be anything from planning brunch or dinner outings, going to a sports game, going to a museum, going to a concert, going on a walk or a hike, or even just doing a virtual meeting with others! As long as the activity you create is appropriate, meets Aloe’s guidelines or your organization’s terms and beliefs, then you’re good to go. (Note: an Aloe administrator or your organization’s admin have the right to delete your activity at any time, if they deem it is inappropriate or does not meet their guidelines.)

There are two ways you can create an activity:

1. By chatting and talking about your activity in your organization’s group chat with others and planning your activity through the chat.

2. Or, by clicking on the “Add New Activity” button on the calendar screen and adding in your activity's information.

Once you’ve added all the necessary details to your activity, you can then tag the members you want to invite, sending them a private invite to your activity, or you can share your activity on your Facebook or Twitter feeds.

Then, members can respond “I’m Interested” or “I’m Going” and can reach out to you directly if they have any questions. You can also delete your activity, if you’d like. We’ll automatically notify all "interested" or "going" members of your activity of the changes you make to your activity.

So, enjoy creating activities on Aloe and gathering a group of people together to do something you enjoy doing on your own timing and what works well for your own schedule and interests! If you have a hard time getting the things done that you'd like to get done, then creating an activity with others is also a great way to bring a group of people together to stay motivated on a task, hold each other accountable, and bond over a shared goal.
